Using my digital camera I hope to convey in this journal the wonder and joy of living in a beautiful and mysterious land called New Zealand.

Graduation Day
Edited in picnic using the Orton filter. This adds a vibrance and bloom effect that I just can't mimic in Aperture yet.

University Clocktower
To say that I am impressed with the Fujifilm X10 black and white output would be a gross understatement. Very, very impressed with this quality. No post processing was used on this image.
University Clock Tower in Sepia
I used sepia mode for this one. The photo has been adjusted in Aperture using a mild custom sepia wash effect but the basic photo taken by the camera is the same. Fujifilm X10 compact. No pp. Just straight out of the camera so everyone can appreciate the ability of this new model from Fuji. I have never had such confidence shooting with a compact before.

Taieri Mouth Visit
Photo taken with a brand new Fuji X10 on a recent trip to Taieri Mouth. Photo processed in Aperture using the monochrome slider. The camera is real winner and a delight to use.
