My first serious attempt at an iconic New Zealand beach here in Otago. The Moeraki boulders are mysterious things - nothing else like them anywhere in the world. This was a brief and hurried visit but still worth it.
Using my digital camera I hope to convey in this journal the wonder and joy of living in a beautiful and mysterious land called New Zealand.

New Stadium
Via Flickr:
The new Forsyth Barr stadium in Dunedin is a mammoth building that dominates the cityscape from just about any viewpoint around the city. In the foreground is another impressive landmark to provide some context - the Dunedin railway station. Construction is almost complete so it should be ready for the Rugby World Cup in September 2011.

Shag Point
Via Flickr:
Edited in Aperture 3 using the Toy Camera Filter. This is a rough and ready edit. Still looking for the right "mood" for this scene. I think I want something nostalgic or retro.
This is the first time I have stopped and taken photos from Shag Point. It is a very impressive vista from the the road. I think there is lesson here very similar to taking the time to smell the roses or in my case taking time to capture the moment.
