Smaills Beach in the Summer
Take another look at where you live because I'm sure it is a special place just like mine.
But Only Briefly...
It was indeed a brief interlude. In only a few minutes the mist that had engulfed the harbour was gone. Fortunately I was there to capture the moment.

Allans Beach could be called Dunedin's best kept secret but most locals aren't aware of it either!

Allans Beach is one of the more remote beaches in Dunedin. You have to go looking for it on purpose.

Allans Beach is situated 25 minutes from Dunedin on the south-east coast of the Otago Peninsula near Hoopers Inlet. It's a great place to take a picnic or just go wandering. This picture was taken at the northern end of the beach.
My Blue Sky
Recently someone from the Northern Hemisphere asked, "does your sky really look like this". The simple truth is yes it does. On a sunny day the sky really does look this blue.
